About

All About Magic Lady & How We Started

I had been a keen crafter for many years, I always loved art as a child and was always drawing or colouring and making things out of sticky back plastic and card as you do when you are a child. I did the usual crafts as I grew up, knitting, sewing, dress making, painting but by far my favourite was cross stitch and now my house is full of cross stitch pictures

I have stitched samplers for all my grandchildren and have done many cards and samplers for friends and relatives for their special occasions.

I started the selling on craft supplies on good old Ebay as a way to pay for my hobby but it became so succesful that three years ago I decided to get adventurous and start my own
craft web site.

There are so many different crafts I thought it would be nice to be able to find them all in one place rather than have to search through lots of sites. The website was named Magic Lady Crafts as my father was a Magician and entertainer and always called me his Magic Lady

At first I could not make up my mind what to retail. In the end I decided not to retail kits but would supply accessories and storage for different crafts supplying
Craft Tools * Craft Storage * Pens, Inks & Chalks and lots of other craft supplies to many to mention so please pop in and have a look.

I recently added an addition to the website designing bespoke Gift hampers for all occasions, & Letter Cakes & Celebration cakes but this is still in its infancy but is heading in the right direction.

When I get time I will make a special page for photos on here and will add some pictures of the cross stitch kits I have done.

You might just be starting crafting and not really sure how to do the craft correctly and would like some advice and just cant find any I will try and help you as much as I can by sourcing tutorials etc for you and if you have any projects or ideas of your own that you would like to showcase please feel free to contact me. All projects are most welcome

I will be trying to add to this blog daily time willing and am hoping to add some tutorial when I get time to source them. Again anyone who has tutorials and would like to add them to the blog please feel free to contact me
